When visiting friends you often stay as a guest.  Then some places feel just like home…home second home.

The door is always open…

You come and go as you please without upsetting someone.

Show up day or night, even unexpected, and you’re welcome.  No need to clean when real friends are coming. Smile

All food is free for the eating…the host even keeps things on hand you can eat. IMG_7717IMG_7710

No need to search the cabinets for a cup or fork…you know where to find everything

Even in the oddest places.

You have your own chair and TV is up for negotiation…except on Thursday Night. Winking smile

Reading in bed is welcomed….

and so are naps; In fact they are recommended.  Who am I to disagree?

But the best part about Home Second Home is the conversations that start, run off on a tangent and always end up back on track, yet never finished.  You know you’ll be back so why worry about fitting in a single visit.

Forget Home Second Home…when you are with friends it feels like

home sweet home

I love places like that. I hope my home is like that to friends who visit. And hello…. I need a nap.

I hope my home is the same. We don’t have many people over but I want them to enjoy being here and not feel like it’s a rush.
