In an effort to show how far I’ve come in the last 4 years here are some before and current photos…eventually I’ll be an after

The pic that changed it all.
In December of 2003 my 3 girl cousins and I took pics at Sears for my grandma. I didn’t realize how big I was until I got copies of the pics. I felt humongous in this pic and did not feel comfortable. The shirt barely fit and the pants were tight. I was horrified at how I looked.

Pre-seminary Uniform Pic
I had to have pics taken of me in my uniform before entering The Salvation Army seminary and was appalled at how big I looked in it.

Graduation Uniform Pic
This pic was taken about 3 months before graduation to be included in the graduation program. Notice the HUGE change in face shape. And this uniform was too big because we hadn’t gotten our new ones yet.

Wedding day bliss!
On my wedding day my dress didn’t fit…It was too BIG! The seamstress didn’t adjust enough and the back that was a corset back looked like a straight line of string. My friend had to pin it. This was my lowest at 163.5 lbs.

Hunni and I soon after moving to our first church.
Hunni and I arrived at our new corps/church as the pastors and had this pic taken for the paper and our programs. This uniform fit okay but was a bit loose. I was happy even though you can’t tell it on my face.

New Uniform from my friend.
Cut to about 8 months later I needed a smaller uniform. My friend sent me her smaller one since we couldn’t afford a new one. It was a size 10 top and 12 bottom when my old one was 16 top 14 bottom. To think I used to wear a 22 all around.

Me and one of my Best Friends at her wedding
And this is the most recent pic of me. I went to my friend’s wedding a few weeks ago and got my pic taken with the gorgeous bride. I was so happy to share in her day.

It is a nice feeling when you get to shop through your closet (or friends) for a smaller size cloths
